PHASE I SEWER REHABILITATION
CLIENT: CITY OF WIGGINS

Tice Engineering was hired by the City of Wiggins to plan, design and oversee construction of improvements of the existing sewer system. The project kicked-off with the development and approval of a sewer facilities plan. Once the facility plan was approved, the City was awarded a State Revolving Loan and TEI moved into the design phase. The design includes the rehabilitation of approximately 9,000 linear feet of sewer line. Areas of the existing line are more than 50 years old and carry approximately one-third of the city’s sewer to a nearby treatment facility. The project required coordination with the regulatory agencies during design which will continue through construction.
