PROJECT OWNER: MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORATION (MDOT)

CLIENT: GARVER, LLC

Tice Engineering was hired to prepare a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and Topographic drawing from a georeferenced point cloud provided by MDOT for 17 miles of State Highway 12 from U.S. Highway 51 to Kosciusko, Mississippi in Attala County. Tice Engineering utilized TopoDOT and Tremble Business Center to extract topographic feautures from the point cloud. The project is scheduled to be completed 60 days later than anticipated due to the point cloud not being classified and a staffing shortage.
